We kicked off our wedding season with Claudia & Joel’s beautiful day! We couldn’t have asked for a more lovely and fun day to start our season!
We’ve had such a wonderful, busy summer, we haven’t had much time for blogging. We have so many beautiful wedding to share in the coming months.
The first sneak peek is of Christine & Andrew. It was a rainy, grey day, which created such a soft gorgeous light for their photographs and looked perfect with their colour scheme. Can’t wait to share the rest.
What a gorgeous couple and a beautiful venue. We LOVE the Conestoga Golf Course!
Brianna & Mathew’s wedding from this past fall was simply breath taking. The colour pallet was exquisite and most of the wedding details were hand-crafted by Brianna herself! The ceremony and reception took place in the lovely Hauser Hall in Heidelberg. I love this venue! It provides the perfect backdrop and the vintage details are beautiful.
Brianna & Mat decided to do something a little different on their wedding day. Instead of the traditional wedding day schedule, they had a pre-wedding reveal and did their couple’s portraits and wedding party photographs before the wedding. For them, this allowed more time to take their family portraits and mingle with their guests during cocktail hour. Although a pre-wedding reveal isn’t everyone’s preference, it is a really great way to ensure that you will be able to spend time with your guests and family if you have a tight schedule.
This lovely, DIY wedding was a pleasure to photograph. As you will see in the photographs, Brianna is a truly talented lady!
Although it was a hot summer day, Peter & Sabrina were such a pleasure to photograph. They choose beautiful locations for their very chic wedding. Their ceremony was held at Our Lady Fatima Church in Cambridge. We then all headed over to the lovely Gore Mutual grounds for the bridal party and couple’s portraits and then ended the night at the Cambridge Portuguese Club. The club hosted a fantastic meal and party! We had such a great time and felt so lucky to be able to record this wonderful couple’s day!
We’ve been so (wonderfully) busy this wedding season that before all our fall engagement sessions start, we’ve decided to head off to cottage country for a week to get a chance to enjoy some sunshine before winter sets in.
I leave you with one of my favorite photographs from the last wedding of our summer… much more updates upon our return!
A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of following Jess and Jeff around on their wedding day. They had us in the morning, taking pre-wedding shots, all the way to the evening, photographing the reception at the Schoolhouse Theatre in St.Jacobs. A shoot of this length would have surely tired us out, but we were having too much fun to feel low in energy—Jess and Jeff were very creatively free with us, so we were able to shoot with no stylistic restrictions and they were open to shooting in some pretty cool places, such as an attic and around the Olde Heidelberg Restaurant Tavern and Motel. Here is a preview of our time with them!

This saturday, we had the privilege of photographing Brian and Amanda’s wedding at the Grist Mill in Waterloo.
It was a really fun day and despite the heat, we managed to stay cool, by using the shade of the trees around Waterloo Park, the PI building and the Clay and Glass Museum as our backdrops.
